Welcome to BSA Troops 63 & 772

Troops 63 and 772 are active, youth-led Scouting America troops serving youth in the Greater Hazleton area and beyond. Founded in 1940, Troop 63 has hosted boys through their chartered organization, St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church for more than 80 years. Troop 772 began welcoming girls to scouting in 2019 and the two troops have worked together ever since, sharing leadership, troop meetings, summer camps, events, and fundraising. Part of the Carbon-Luzerne District in the Minsi Trails Council, our troops meet weekly on Monday evenings, camp often, and participate in community service and other events throughout the year.
